Recommendations
Calakmul is a large site: you’ll walk about 4 kilometers and climb buildings, so a reasonable level of fitness is recommended. Wear clothing that covers your body, closed-toe shoes, a cap, eco-friendly sunscreen and insect repellent, plus a swimsuit and towel for Bacalar.
