The tour
Crystal-clear waters, cenotes and pirates
Swim in the impressive Cenote Azul, the largest known open cenote, 400 meters across. Then take a boat across Bacalar Lagoon and its shades of blue, passing three cenotes on the way to the Pirates’ Channel, where you’ll have time to swim and take the best photos.
Have lunch facing the lagoon and finish with a guided visit to Bacalar Fort, a colonial building that defended the region from pirates and Maya rebels and is now a museum.
