Discover three sites of great importance in Mayan culture and round out the experience at Bacalar Lagoon. You’ll visit mighty Dzibanché, “where the owl sings”, whose Xibalbá Plaza and buildings reveal the greatness of a civilization that mastered time. At Kinichná, a palace built in honor of the Sun God, you’ll climb the pyramid to take in a view worthy of the gods of the Mayab. At Kohunlich, among cohune and tropical palms, the Temple of the Masks reveals five great stone faces watching over the sunset. Then relax by Bacalar Lagoon and admire the incredible scenery of this one-of-a-kind lagoon.

Itinerary
Day 1. Chetumal
Arrival at Chetumal airport and transfer to your hotel. Visit to the Museum of Mayan Culture and lunch in Calderitas.
Day 2. Dzibanché, Kinichná and Kohunlich
A full day of jungle and archaeology, with guided visits to all three sites and time for lunch.
Day 3. Bacalar Lagoon
Boat tour on the lagoon of seven colors, with time to swim.
Day 4. Departure
Transfer to Chetumal airport.
